This is a wonderful Pilates studio with excellent teachers. After Physical Theraphy I was looking for something to help me continue strengthening my core and protect my back.
What a great place to workout and I will definitely continue to come back! It's nice that you can get a different workout each time you go, so I'll never get bored with the same routine. I felt like my workout was tailored just for my fitness level and the instructors were very intuitive to my needs.

Your first barre class at Pilates Body Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
