From the reviews
My Hot Yoga Studio is my FAVORITE yoga place. I've been a customer for many years, and love it. I didn't realize how much I loved it until I had to temporarily move to another city and discovered how much I missed it.
Complete beginner’s review! My Hot is such an inviting studio. You’ll encounter all body types which really helped me feel comfortable. There is such a great variety of classes even for beginners so that you’ll get to know the different instructors and what works for you.
This is my absolute favorite yoga studio in Springfield! The instructors are all so warm and welcoming. I am willing to drive 20 minutes across town just to do yoga because of how amazing the classes are, how skilled the instructors are, and just the overall atmosphere of the yoga rooms.
Excellent yoga studio, comfortable atmosphere with genuine people. Quality top notch instructors (Danny, Jill, Sara, Brittany, Kim-amazing!!!) and I really appreciate they do not try the typical “trying to always sell you on things” vibe.- like so many others in town.
Your first barre class at My Hot Yoga
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
