From the reviews
Two years ago I started taking classes at MindBody + Barre. That turned out to be a great decision. Carla, the owner, offers many classes in addition to yoga and barre. You will see a variety of classes on the weekly schedule from meditation and restore classes to strength and dance classes. They’re all great!!
I started attending classes at this studio in September. All of the teachers are knowledgeable, encouraging, and kind. From the very beginning, the instructors learned my name and made me feel like I belonged. I took 26 classes in September and not a single one disappointed.
I love the MindBody studio and community. After over two years as a member, I am still so impressed by the welcoming and calming space, variety of classes, and incredible instructors who genuinely care. Each class offers a balance of challenge and support and I always leave feeling stronger and more centered.
I absolutely love this yoga studio. I usually attend align & flow classes. Emily and Mahvish are professional, patient, and welcoming. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Every class leaves me feeling refreshed and balanced. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great yoga experience!
Your first barre class at MindBody Yoga + Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
