From the reviews
Inspire Pilates is such an amazing studio and community. Kim creates such a welcoming, accepting, home-like environment which makes each class extremely enjoyable, uplifting and completely judgement free!
Kim is amazing! She is kind, knowledgeable, and her class is perfect with the right amount of exercises and subtle corrections to gain the most benefit. Her passion fills the studio and the members are friendly and kind given the environment she created. A true gem!
I can’t say enough great things about this Pilates studio and its owner, Kim. When I first started, I had never used a reformer and was honestly a little nervous. Kim was incredibly patient, welcoming, and attentive from day one.
Inspire Pilates is amazing and welcoming to all body types! Class participants are a diverse range of age, body-type, and skill. Kim is a cheerful and and encouraging guide for each of us and is especially helpful about suggesting adjustments to suit abilities and injury needs.
Your first barre class at Inspire Pilates and Fitness
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
