From the reviews
HOTWORX has completely changed my life. I have lost weight and feel so much better in my day to day life. If you are questioning if you should start, PLEASE DO IT! Other reviews comment on the cleanliness of this studio- I have never had a problem with it. It’s very clean and well run by management.
Post surgery I was instructed by my doctor to use an infrared sauna 20 minutes per day to detox. HOTWORX felt like a perfect fit for my needs. The staff is professional and kind and thoughtfully got me set up with everything I needed to feel comfortable and confident in my classes.
I love HOTWORX! I’ve been coming here consistently since they opened back in January, which is saying a lot because I DO NOT like going to the gym! I am obsessed with this place! I work 3 jobs and I love that it is open 24 hours and I can still get a workout in late, even if it’s just a 15 minute spin class.
This hotworks by far has the best staff and cleanest gym that I've been to! Everyone is super friendly and willing to help in any way. I have watched all staff members scrub and clean the saunas and the equipment. So I see that it's getting done. It's right next to 1300 east.
Your first barre class at HOTWORX - Midvale, UT - Sandy
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
