From the reviews
I absolutely love HOTWORX! I’m a fan of sauna, and working out in heat allows me to get a good workout in in less time. The facility is immaculately clean and Jen is there all the time with a big smile. She actually knows most of the members names and is very helpful. The instructors are great!
I’ve never been more consistent in my workout routine before! From someone who absolutely hates working out and has tried everything from personal training to classes HOTWORX has been my favorite by far. Looking forward to what a few more months will do for my body!
Great new workout studio in Media. Love the infrared sauna workouts! Thought the heat would be too much, but I actually love it! Being open 24/7 is such an added plus. Definitely worth checking out.
I joined HOTWORX before they even opened their doors so it was a risk. I am glad I did. I'm not a huge fan of working out but I know I love saunas and yoga so I joined. I like how quick the workouts are and the feeling of the heat. I also like the variety of different activities to choose so it doesn't get boring.
Your first barre class at HOTWORX - Media, PA
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
