From the reviews
I went to a Pilates class for the first time this morning and honestly had such a great experience. The studio was super clean and had a really calming atmosphere, which immediately made me feel comfortable even though I was new.
I’ve been going to this studio for about two months and couldn’t be happier. The instructors are all fantastic, and as someone new to Pilates, I’m officially hooked. I can already tell a big difference in my glutes and abs, which is a huge win.
Never tried Pilates or Barre before but I’m hooked! They did not hold back from giving Kerrville a beautiful Pilates, yoga & barre studio. Instructors are very kind, the space is beautiful, and I get a good workout in every time I go. So happy they’re here & if you try it out, try barre too!
Barre Sculpt was amazing! Cristalene was the perfect mix of professional and hilarious—she kept the energy up while making it so much fun. The class flew by, which is always a good sign. Already looking forward to coming back!
Your first barre class at Forma Pilates Studio and Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
