From the reviews
This is the first yoga studio I have ever been to, and I fell in love. I practiced at home for almost a year before trying a class, so I was able to jump right into the C2 heated classes. I have found quite a few instructors I really like, and they are very encouraging and motivating.
I have been a member of this studio for nearly a decade now. Hands down, it has the best sense of community (and I have practiced at several others around the Denver area). It is fun, vibrant, and you always leave feeling better than when you came in.
This studio is amazing, fun, and family. The studio offers different types of classes depending on experience and on what you want out of the class. The teachers work hard to make every class unique and special.
I loved the free week it gave me a chance to meet a few teachers and see the style of the classes. There is a pretty similar curriculum to each class. I am still learning and prefer instruction over the "free style" where they lead you and then you do it on your own. There was also a lack of breathing techniques.
Your first barre class at CorePower Yoga - Parker
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel — there are showers on site if you need one after. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
