The classes they teach
“I have learned that breath is just as important as movement, and the size of the weights isn't the only determining factor in strength.”
“As a beginner, it’s nice to have an instructor that will walk you through the poses and let you know the variations if things don’t work well for you.”

Jeni and the instructors at The Creative Flow have done an amazing job creating the most welcoming atmosphere, no matter where you are in your journey. I've done classes on days I could barely move and they provided me with modifications my body needed, and they've also been the ones there with the biggest cheer when…
I recently started classes at Collective Flow. I have taken a wide variety of classes and the instructors have all been incredible kind and welcoming! The classes are challenging but all have offered/suggested modifications to accommodate my fitness level. The studio is beautiful and very clean.
After going to multiple local studios, I finally found my home. Everything about collective just works out for me- convenient location, wide variety of classes and times (to the point I find myself doubling up classes because I don’t want to miss a class or instructor), and ALL the instructors I love.
I took a Yin yoga class with Megan, and it was a beautiful experience. This was my very first yoga class, and Megan did a great job of talking us through the poses, suggesting adjustments for beginners, and teaching us the basic principles of Yin yoga. She was a patient, mindful, and soothing instructor.
Your first barre class at Collective Flow Yoga, Pilates, and Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
