The classes they teach
“Barre3 is a favorite, I've been to several locations, this one is close to home, has two showers and always clean.”
“I also like that they have specialized classes like barre strength and barre cardio.”
“There is a range of class types, but B3 Strength is a favorite for the slow burn with heavier weights than the traditional classes.”

From the reviews
As a cardio lover, I started taking barre classes to build strength. I’ve never liked weightlifting but had made a goal to get stronger and cross train, specifically for running, to prevent knee pain. What I initially thought would be a workout I would need to slog through, I’ve grown to absolutely love.
I've been a member of Barre3 for almost six months. I love coming to the classes, they're challenging in the best way possible. It’s sometimes a hit or miss with the friendliness of the staff, however for the most part the environment is very welcoming. One of my favorite classes they’ve held is their BIPOC class.
I love Barre3! I have benefitted remarkably from this mindful, functional movement--my posture and strength have improved dramatically, and it greatly helps my stress. In fact, it's the only exercise class that I've stuck with consistently.
Barre3’s Southeast location provides a perfect balance between rigorous workouts and encouraging instruction. It’s a safe environment in which to push yourself and do what’s best for your body. I’ve loved classes with Jamie, Cayla, Stacy, and D’nece; they are all unique and all wonderful.
Your first barre class at barre3
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
