From the reviews
I absolutely LOVE Barre3, specifically this studio! I have always worked out at home, and was intimidated to try group fitness. However, I didn't need to be because everyone here made me feel so comfortable and welcome!
Barre Code is the highlight of my week every week! I love the variety of workouts and how I'm challenged every single time — it never gets boring and I feel like I learn something new in every class.
I’ve been coming to Barre3 for a couple months now. It’s amazing!! Kimberly and her team are so welcoming and kind. The studio is clean and comfortable. I love the challenging but accessible workouts with plenty of modification options, and the empowering, body-positive language they use in class.
I first came to the Barre Code Plano in 2016 - a friend told me to come check it out and I'm so glad I did. I was literally there every day and it became my stress release while I was studying for the bar exam.
Your first barre class at barre3
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
