From the reviews
Barre3 Chatham Park has quickly become one of my favorite places to recharge. The studio has such a peaceful, grounding energy — warm, welcoming, and genuinely supportive.
I had my first barre3 workout here this week as part of a team building event for my work. From start to finish it was absolutely fabulous. Jane was our instructor and she kicked our butts in the best way. She made it a lot of fun and the workout was all around amazing.
Exercise without judgement. Head over to barre3 in Chatham Park and that's what you'll get. Classes that everyone can keep up with because the exercise can be modified to what works for you! And the instructors are always walking around the room trying to help you with what is best for you.
Things I count on coming to Barre3 in Pittsboro- a killer workout, a smile at the door, a community of people wanting to build you up, and a post workout high of knowing I did something good for my mind, body and soul! I love Barre3 Pittsboro!!
Your first barre class at barre3
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
