From the reviews

Barre3 has become my home away from home! I have always been the type of person that gets bored with doing the same workout over and over but I have never once had that feeling with Barre3! Each instructor has their own unique class and I love how they are all tweaking the class so its never the same!

This is truly the most amazing place ever!! Not only are the workouts phenomenal, and kicks your butt (in a good way of course), but the people here are all so welcoming and have the most genuine hearts!

I’ve been going to Barre3 for a couple years now. This place is truly my happy place! The instructors and owners Kelli and Dennis are absolutely amazing!!!! Everyone is so positive and encouraging. I’ve done these classes pregnant and not and these classes have helped my body tremendously.

I’ll never stop raving over Barre3! Specifically this location! (I’ve attended other Barre3 locations and can’t even compare!!) Kelli, the owner, is absolutely the sweetest and most attentive person ever! Her instructors are all SO amazing and the classes are top notch!!

Your first barre class at barre3

New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.

Barre is low-impact, so it suits most bodies and fitness levels — but if you're pregnant or working around an injury, check with a doctor and let your instructor know so they can offer modifications.
