From the reviews
Barre Code IS AMAZING. Not only are the workouts killer but ALL the instructors are so kind and sweet. They push you and encourage you to be your BEST self and are always there if you have any questions.
I have been a member of Barre Code since they opened in 2015. I absolutely love it! The classes offer great variety - bootcamp, barre, strength, yoga and kickboxing - cover all the bases and each class is different. You won't do the exact same thing over and over and get bored.
I have been going to the Barre Code in Middletown for a little over 2 weeks now and love it! The instructors are so inviting and every class burns just as much as the last. I know if can be intimidating to start something new but I have felt so welcomed and encouraged.
My favorite spot to unwind and grow stronger! Instructors are amazing!! They always bring it and help keep us motivated during class. It's a great community of women. I thoroughly enjoy being able to push my body and prove I can do it and seeing how strong everyone else is. It's inspirational!
Your first barre class at barre3
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
