From the reviews
Studio Barre Bird Rock is more than a barre studio...it’s truly a family for me. When I walk into the studio I know I will find a lot of smiles, amazing barre{tenders} and Barre{istas}, a great workout, a lot of shakes and most importantly a lot of happiness and love!
I can’t say enough words to describe what a beautiful studio this is and what an AMAZING workout I had! I have been active and working out for decades so I’m super picky about my workouts- as I like a challenge and I have to say I was super surprised and pleased when I walked out of the studio. I can’t wait to go back!
I love Studio Barre Birdrock! All of the instructors are super encouraging , inspiring, and really push you to challenge yourself. Workouts are always set to fun music , in a clean studio and it feels like a community of super supportive women.
Studio Barre Bird Rock is the best! The owners, instructors, and front desk staff are all amazing-- literally every single one of them! The class is probably the hardest thing my body has ever done, and I LOVE it! They provide a high energy, positive, and fun Barre class!
Your first barre class at barre3
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
