From the reviews
From the moment you walk into the Dublin Barre3 studio, you will fee welcomed and at ease. The instructors are knowledgeable and encouraging, making every class feel like a supportive community. I appreciate how the workouts challenge me physically while also helping me find a sense of calm and focus.
My first Barre3 class was almost 10 years ago at the Powell studio. It quickly became my happy place. The entire staff has always been so kind, knowledgeable and encouraging. The clients are very supportive of each other and I truly feel like I’m part of an amazing community.
I've been going to Barre3 Dublin since they opened in January, and I can't say enough good things about it. From day one, the community has been incredibly welcoming and positive.
Barre3 is my favorite way to strengthen my body and mind. After years of running long distance I needed a challenging fitness routine that didn't leave me in pain. Barre3 is great for any level of fitness, you chose how heavy and hard you want to push and the instructors support your choices.
Your first barre class at barre3
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
