From the reviews
Elizabeth is an awesome instructor. I’ve never been to a Barre class but her directions and modifications for my lower back pain made the class super enjoyable and accessible. I really like the vibe. Finishing off the workout with the breathing exercises was also really awesome.
Very impressed by this studio. The manager, Trina, is very kind, empathetic and accommodating. The studio is clean, inviting, relaxing, and has a nice view. My favorite instructor is Ashley and I always look forward to booking a class at this barre3 location.
I have taken six Barre3 classes so far. It feels more like a cardio and HIIT workout compared to other typical barre classes, but I have really enjoyed Barre3! (I receive a promotion for this post, but I gave it five stars even without it.) What I liked so far: - The studio and the restroom are very clean.
I haven’t worked out in a long time due to raising children. A friend invited me to try Barre3 along with her and I ended up loving it. I like how I can go work out at 6:30 am a few times a week and be home before the rest of my family are even awake. I love the variety of the moves combining cardio and core training.
Your first barre class at barre3
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
