From the reviews
The thought of group fitness classes used to really intimidate me. That all changed once I started coming to Zen. This place has challenged me in so many ways and helped me achieve fitness goals I never thought I could reach. I started off barely being able to make it through a barre class.
UPDATE: I am still at ZenStudio and doing all the things I love, barre, strength, barre bounce, spin and fusion flow. Love all my instructors and classes. Still the best place to workout! I have been a member to ZenStudio since 2013 and I can’t imagine going anywhere else.
I've been working out at ZenStudio for 2 years, and it's been an incredible journey! The community vibe here is phenomenal. Everyone, from the staff, instructors, to fellow fitness enthusiasts, is super welcoming and supportive. It feels like a fitness family. The variety of classes offered is another huge plus.
I’ve been going to zen for almost 5 years now. I have tried every single spin studio in Little Rock (multiple classes at each), and none even hold a candle to zen. The people are amazingly welcoming and friendly, and it truly feels like a family instead of a business.

New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
