From the reviews
10/10 I am in LOVE with the new infrared studio you’ve added! I truly didn’t think I could love VELO any more with all of the amazing coaches, wide variety in classes and class schedule options.. now THE HOT STUDIO takes it to a whole new level! Beautiful & spacious, not to mention how incredible the community is!!
After years of powerlifting and getting burnt out from the gym, I wanted to try something different to stay active so I found Velo/Vivre and started signing up for a few classes individually to see if I would enjoy the workouts before committing to a membership.
I was SO nervous to start a group fitness class!! I used to work out at home until I walked into Velo. The trainers made me SO comfortable and I can tell they have regulars who were also so kind. Such a fun class and I am glad it got me out of my comfort zone!
I love Velo, the classes offered are great there’s a mixture of little bit of everything, but the Cycling classes are my favorite, I go at 530am and it’s such awesome way to start your day the workout is so fun and all the instructors are top notch. They are understanding, fun, and so inspiring.
Your first barre class at Vélo Fitness Studio
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
