From the reviews
The Yoga Sweat in Kennebunk is an incredibly fun experience! If you find yourself in Moody Beach or Kennebunk, check out The Yoga Sweat studio. I paid $99 for the 1st month trial. I did several classes, including Sweat & Flow, Sweat & Sculpt, Advanced Bounce, Sweat & Shake, and Sweat & Hot.
I just moved to the area, and was looking to get back into yoga. I used to do it every day, but it had been a while. I am SO happy I found this studio, and that it's so close to my house. From the moment I signed up for my first class online, I felt so welcomed with a "hello" phone call.
The studio has such a welcoming atmosphere and I felt accepted from the moment I walked in. The front desk staff is so friendly, kind, and accommodating. I didn't catch the name of the lady working at the front desk, but she had a cute, short, blonde haircut and made sure all of my needs were met.
For so many reasons!! The staff welcomes you every time you walk through the door. They are happy to see you! The facility is clean and the environment is calming. Everyone is welcome here and it shows!! Instructors correct your form during class ensuring you are getting the most out of your workout.
Your first barre class at The Daily Sweat
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
