From the reviews

"The Barre Dance Boutique has exceptional customer service . They're always happy to help with questions and provide personalized recommendations." I was looking for a few items for my daughter and Lacey was absolutely amazing.

Getting fitted for pointe shoes here was the best decision ever! Finally having pointe shoes that fit well after years of dancing en pointe is life changing; I can't believe I never got fitted before now. Highly recommend going in for a fitting!

Great experience. Helpful and knowledgeable and full of inventory. All basic leotards and tights and they do pointe fittings. Will visit again when my girls need additional dance wear.

Your first barre class at The Barre Dance Boutique

New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.

Barre is low-impact, so it suits most bodies and fitness levels — but if you're pregnant or working around an injury, check with a doctor and let your instructor know so they can offer modifications.
