From the reviews
I have been going to studio B over the last year and it has been the best thing for my life! I just had a baby april 2023 and was trying to get in shape and it was difficult to go to the gym. I grew up an athlete and dancing and so I wanted to get back into some classes.
A friend’s wife Invited me about 6 weeks ago. I did Yoga at home but always wanted to try an in person class. I was surprised that it wasn’t just yoga. Class description was Yoga Sculpt which involved some bands and weights. There is a traditional yoga class offered but that’s not the one I attended.
I joined Studio B in May of 2025, I was bored at the gym and was looking for something different, but knew I wasn’t ready for a CrossFit class. Studio B was and is the perfect combination for my life style. Every day is a different class with a different instructor and is great for all levels, beginners to advance.
** updating a year later! This place has become my second home and I have met my very best friends here. The variety of classes never disappoints and the instructors genuinely care about our members. So welcoming and encouraging no matter where you’re at in your health journey!
Your first barre class at Studio B Group Fitness
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
