From the reviews
My spouse found this studio and has been trying for a while to get me to join her for a class to help me become more flexible and just relax and allow my mind to just be in the moment and release the day to day stress. I am beyond happy I listened to her and started joining her about a month ago.
We arrived to a packed studio and the owner, Kate, got 6 new members enrolled and handled everyone coming in professionally. Mrs. Tracey’s class was fulfilling and invigorating. My friends and I left feeling challenged and also rejuvenated.
I had heard nothing but amazing reviews from friends about Salt and the classes there. I finally decided to try for myself and I am in love! The studio is perfect, the teacher of the Hot Power Flow, Jenn was phenomenal and it was just a freeing environment where you can practice in peace and comfort.
Absolutely loved my experience at SALT. I did 3 hot Pilates classes with 3 different instructors and I cannot wait to go again. Highly recommend if you want to feel worked out and invigorated.
Your first barre class at S A L T
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
