I signed up with an intro offer. Had been wanting to try Pilates for a while and I'm glad I found a great deal. Not too far from where I live so I appreciate that. The ladies are nice and helpful. I like this low intensity class in comparison to my usual high intensity team training classes at my gym.
REDLANDS BARRE I cannot recommend this barre and Pilates studio enough. I have been consistently taking a variety of classes for over a year at this location. I started by taking advantage of their “First Two-Weeks” special. The classes are an intense full body workout for all bodies.
So happy I decided to join Redlands Barre. I love this women-owned local studio. They provide a variety of barre, mat Pilates and reformer Pilates for all skill levels. I love that they are very welcoming and try to foster a community feel.
Redlands Barre has incredible instructors and everyone I've talked to is welcoming. They have a variety of classes and each instructor has their own style which keeps my body challenged! I also love that it is a women's only studio.
Your first barre class at Redlands Barre & Pilates
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
