Absolutely love this studio. The owner Mrs Brandi is just so kind and works well with my daughter whose 4 that has autism in ballet and tap and my 9 year old with adhd in gymnastics. The staff are also very helpful and sweet.
The studio is wonderful for the children and the parents. The dance instructors and staff are very curtious to everyone's needs. Lots of room thru the back. Where the kids of all ages practice their moves.
Raise The Barre & help your children enjoy elevating their skills to the next level!!!
My daughter loves it and talks about it all week. Keep up the good work at Raise the bar!
Your first barre class at Raise the Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
