Pure Barre is more than just a workout! It took some convincing, but after taking my first class over 5 years ago, I never looked back! I found that Pure Barre challenged my body in a way no other workout had and I loved it! Even after 5 years, my body is still challenged daily!
I highly recommend Pure Barre Southern Pines! This a great workout for toning and strengthening the whole body. It is fun and challenging so give it a few classes and you will definitely see the results.
Pure Barre Southern Pines is an amazing place! You will feel like you're at home the minute you walk in the door. My Dad recently passed away and Pure Barre has been so good for me emotionally and physically. Kandice made me feel welcomed and supported on my first visit.

Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
