I joined Pure Barre almost two months ago and it has been the perfect addition to my work out routine. I was looking for something early in the morning to wake me and my metabolism up, and BOY... Has it!

Pure Barre Shreveport is one of the hardest workouts I've ever done and at the same time it the best workout I've ever done. The instructors are amazing with the different routines and classes they provide.
Shreveport Pure Barre IS THE BEST!!! It offers various types of classes where you can create lean muscle, improve your balance and flexibility, and get your cardio in as well. All of this is done with the most amazing instructors that guide and encourage you every step of the way.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
