From the reviews
I started going to this location when they opened 1.5y ago. Previously I had gone to the studio in Redmond, which was near my office — I’ve loved them both but having one close to my home is so much better.
This review is long overdue! I have been an unlimited member of this pure barre location for about 1.5 years since they opened and have gone to approximately 275 classes! First and foremost, of course, the workouts are amazing.
Your body will thank you for checking out the CC Pure Barre studio. Not only is it a stellar workout, but you get to meet some lovely folks along the way. I started at this studio two years ago and barred all the way through pregnancy (yes, barred can be a verb).
I’ve been going to this location for a few months and almost 100 classes! Unfortunately I’m moving out of the area and will need to move studios but it’s so bittersweet! The instructors are always welcoming, engaging and helpful! They always greet you in the door with a smile and are always down for a nice yap session.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
