I've been going to Pure Barre in Redondo for almost a year and a half now and I couldn't be happier with my experience! The pure barre work-out is the only type of fitness that WORKS for me (I dropped 15 lbs in the first three months) and I also enjoy it!
Have been going to this location for over a year and still love it. The instructors are great and easy to ask questions before and after class. Workout it great for core and stability. Different types of classes help mix it up, and the routines change every couple of weeks so provides a nice variety.
Amazing class, the instructors are great! I had a blast coming back from doing Ballet back in childhood, this Barre class gave me so many good flashbacks. I loved how all my muscles were involved. Great toning class. Also, a nice little studio, clean and neat. thank you.
Pro trainers, good vibes. I recently joined Pure Barre and have attended about 20 classes so far. It’s a great workout. I became much stronger and have now a lot more energy for my daily activities. My favorite classes are “Empower”, “Classic” and “Align”. The staff are amazing.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
