From the reviews
I started going to Pure Barre last December to help strengthen my knees before a ski trip. Almost a year later, I can’t believe how toned and strong I’ve gotten. It’s such a friendly and welcoming environment that you feel supported by classmates and instructors!
I’ve been going to the Dr Phillips location for four years now. This is the best workout and community you can find in Central Florida. All of the instructors are so knowledgeable, positive and motivating and the facilities are clean and neat. I cannot recommend Pure Barre Dr Phillips enough!
Pure Barre and all their amazing instructors have not only changed my body but have also changed my mind. The sense of community and support that is given has impacted my mental and emotional health. Thank you for allowing me to be part of this wonderful group of women!!
I am not from Orlando. This workout and studio is by far my top reason for staying in the Orlando area (and maybe my job) —— the vibe, the burn, the free popups and social group outings, really feels like a community or family at this studio <3
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
