From the reviews
I joined this studio a year ago. I hated working out before I found PB Mt Kisco! The staff creates such a warm, welcoming environment from the front desk check in to the instructors throughout class. They always acknowledge you, remember your name and go out of their way to help you with modifications or advice.
I truly don't know how I would've survived the last year without Pure Barre Mt. Kisco. I started going regularly since September 2020. The workout is life and body changing. You will see results quickly if you go regularly.
"Pure Barre has been so much more than just a fitness studio for me; it's truly a sanctuary. I joined four years ago, and from day one, I've been embraced by an incredible community.
I can’t say enough great things about Pure Barre in Mt. Kisco! From the moment you walk in, the front desk staff and owner Megan are welcoming and know your name! All of the instructors are wonderful and always want you to have the best workout by pushing you, suggesting modifications or making adjustments.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
