From the reviews
When my daughter started talking about Pure Barre, I had an idea in my mind of what the workout would be. I thought it would be more like a yoga ballet. Then she convinced me to try a class. Definitely not what I expected: It was so much more!!! It is HIIT meets Pilates meets yoga meets strength training.

I love the positivity that Pure Barre brings to my life! I have gotten into the best shape of my life by working out here 3 to 4 times per week. The coaches are friendly, knowledgeable, easy to learn from and absolutely wonderful people to be around.
I’ve done barre before and didn’t have a great experience. But this place is different, for all the right reasons. I feel so energized and strong after my workouts. That strength carries me through all the things I need to for the rest of the day.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
