From the reviews
Pure Barre is a fabulous workout! People who hadn't seen me since I started are actually commenting on how good I am looking .Th reason I started barre in the first place was I had back issues and my doctor told me I needed to strengthen my core.
I love Pure Barre Hilton Head! Jenna (the owner) is an amazing instructor and always makes me feel like the best version of myself. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. I can’t say enough good things about this studio and the instructors, including Jenna, Ellen, Megan, Erin, Kathleen and Celia.
Pure Barre is hands-down one of the best total body workouts to tone and get your heart rate up without the impact. There is so much diversity in fitness levels here in the studio so everyone feels supported in their progress and goals!
I had the pleasure of being a vacation interloper at PB HHI and what a treat it was! Everyone there was incredibly welcoming and Kristen the owner is just the best. Thei schedule is wonderful, their teachers are talented, and the studio is HUGE! It definitely became my home away from home and I can’t wait to go back!
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
