From the reviews
Attended my first Pure Barre class. It was great and tough too. After class two ladies chatted with me and found some similarities…they were encouraging. I was given instructions by the instructor and right next to her so I knew what I needed to do. Class is 50 minutes long and wow I my body was burning.
I love pure barre! Has been my go to workout and has become a life style! I can see my core stronger each day, my balance improving, my posture is much better. I love the community that is part of it and it’s really addicting!
I love this studio, Kristy is an amazing teacher and Lijana! Any of the classes are good. All skill levels and age groups are welcome!
I've been going to this studio for several years. The classes are awesome and so are the instructors. Try it, you'll feel great!
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
