From the reviews
Look no further if you’ve been looking for a fantastic full-body workout, with low intensity! Pure Barre is without a doubt the most effective and efficient I’ve come across. I have been taking Pure Barre over the span of 10 years and just recently joined the Crescent Commons Studio. What a great decision that was!
I love the Pure Barre team! The staff and instructors are the best. They make the classes challenging & fun at the same time!
I have completed six classes here so far, and have been impressed. I started with a free foundations class. It was so nice to have the opportunity to have a free trial class just for newcomers to the studio and have a chance to understand the foundations of the workout and ask questions.
Joining PB has been a game changer for me! I've always struggled going to the gym or working out at home, but this is honestly the first time I can say that I have FUN when working out. I love the format of the classes and the instructors are truly the best.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
