From the reviews
Pure Barre Brea has been a great experience! All the instructors are sweet and very helpful. They take the time to correct you during the workout and are always available after class to answer any questions. The studio offers a variety of classes and time slots. I’m very grateful to everyone at Pure Barre Brea! 💕
Pure Barre has made a positive change for my body and mind. In just four months It's done more for my mental health than any physcian prescribed pill. I love Pure Barre.
Absolutely love Pure Barre! Started with a free week trial, went every day, and now I'm a member. They offer a lot of different packages that could fit pretty much whatever type of schedule you're looking for.
I purchased the Groupon for 5 classes and quickly decided to buy a package. Pure Barre is a great workout, and everyone at the Brea location is helpful and friendly. From my very first visit, they made me feel comfortable.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
