From the reviews
I love these classes. They work and bring on more healthier choices. They go quickly so they a very easy to fit in a busy schedule. The staff is helpful, kind and motivating. Also, there is no odd one out or mean girl stuff going on. It’s all ages and sizes without judgement.
Barre is more than just a work out. I always feel uplifted whenever I am finished with a class. Specifically on a difficult day. All the instructors are kind. I am able to push myself in each workout while feeling comfortable doing so.
Everyone is so nice and friendly. The staff all make you feel at home.I love going. Look forward to it every time. The streaming option is such a bonus if a person cannot make it to class. So glad I joined Pure Barre!!
Brigitte is such a lovely instructor for classes! She is encouraging and kind in her words. I always enjoy hearing her invitations to listen to my body and find my own rhythm. Thanks for another great start to my day!
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
