Best studio, best instructors! I always did gym and joining Pure Barre in Domain when I moved to Austin almost 3 years ago was my absolute change of life! Best workout, best atmosphere , best people! I’m addicted and my body feels amazing! Thank you! 100% recommended ❤️
Great workouts and Let me start by saying that I generally don't like workout classes. I have always been a loner when it comes to exercise. I have been a runner for almost 30 years and have enjoyed "me time" working out by myself.
I love this place so much. It’s always good vibes and the women smile at each other and the instructors all have great senses of humor and make me laugh out loud. In terms of the workout, it’s just about as perfect as you could get: very minimal sweat but maximum results.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
