From the reviews
No wonder they earned studio of the year! I absolutely LOVE pure barre and the environment they create in every studio. At Arlington Pure Barre, they exceed the expectation and make sure you get the most out of your workout. The instructors are so kind and really care about your experience.
While I haven't been taking classes for a long time at Pure Barre Arlington, I have loved my experience so far. The studio has everything you need - a place to change, restroom, products to freshen up and a CLEAN studio.
I LOVE Pure Barre Arlington! I joined about a week ago and I've already been to 5 classes! I can't get enough. As someone who spent nearly 20 years dancing, I was nervous to get back into it after a long break. I've already seen an improvement in my flexibility, and I wake up with sore muscles that I forgot I even had!
Love Pure Barre! The classes are such a great workout and offer modulations for every level. The teachers really focus on form and offer guidance on how to properly do every move so that you get the maximum benefit. The teachers are very polite and professional. THe music helps energize you throughout the class.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
