From the reviews
I can’t say enough good things about Chelsea and PITY! From day one, I have felt welcomed and supported. I have taken group classes from both Chelsea and Crystal as well as personal training and macro coaching with Chelsea for over a year and have had great successes in my health & fitness.
Chelsea is amazing! I met her during one of the hardest times of my life last year and decided that it was time to get back to taking care of me. She listens, she cares and she will push you to reach your goals. Her classes are great, but 1:1 training is where it’s at for me!
Chelsea's group classes are challenging and fun. I have been working out with her for a few months now and I have lost a solid 13lbs, which I difficult to do around the holidays.
Chelsea is absolutely the best! I had been wanting to hire a personal trainer for a while but felt a bit nervous about the idea of 1:1 sessions with someone new. From my very first session, I knew Chelsea was the perfect fit for me!
Your first barre class at PITYFitness
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
