I cannot say enough great things about Sessions in Norwich. It is so much more than a gym, but a wonderful community of uplifting individuals. I started attending a little over a year ago, after I had my first son.
I was looking for a PT in the neighborhood, probably contacted 3 different places, went to 2 of them. First of all Kris got back to me the fastest. The premises are well managed and a proper hygiene standard is definitely their priority. I have been working with Idalisse as a PT.
I am just getting back into fitness after being pregnant & going through the newborn trenches. (If you know you know lol) I truly believe that I have found exactly what I have been looking for & what I needed.
I took “Rise” on Sunday morning with Tayler and it was such a great class! Tayler brings incredible energy, and it truly sets the tone for the whole workout. You leave feeling strong, accomplished, and confident. I can’t recommend it enough!

What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel — there are showers on site if you need one after. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
