Neighborhood Barre is awesome! I am new to barre and was very nervous to go. Now I’ve done 6 classes and I already see results- especially in my posture and cellulite reduction. Everyone is very welcoming and you can tell the lovely people that teach here make it a point to remember everyone’s name!
I have been going to Neighborhood barre for a few days now, and I'm hooked! I love the welcoming atmosphere, and the instructors greet you by name. The music is motivating to push through the workouts and each instructor is encouraging.
This studio is amazing! I’ve always had a great experience working out here. The instructors are awesome, thoroughly explaining all the movements and the workouts are the best.
I've always thought I was the kind of person that hated exercise. I have finally found what I enjoy! It's not just the exercise but it's the place and the people that make the difference. I now look forward to working out. It's a tough workout but I am getting stronger every day!
Your first barre class at Neighborhood barre Fort Worth
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
