From the reviews
I stumbled upon Hot 11 Yoga accidentally and now it’s truly one of my favorite places to be! This studio is extremely inviting and makes all new members feel included. They offer a variety of classes (in and out of the studio) and a wide range of class times which can conveniently fit into anyones schedule.
I joined this studio less than a month ago, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! I’ve tried POP pilates, barre, and a variety of hot yoga classes, and the instructors have been consistently amazing. They really make an effort to memorize your name from day one, which makes you feel so welcome.
I have explored a LOT of Yoga studios and never did I expect to have one of the best experiences at this tiny town of Cromwell, CT! The atmosphere was clean and lovely. Cheyenne was an incredible instructor, she was supportive and encouraging and really pushed us gently to challenge ourselves.
After tearing my Achilles twice in the last 5 years, I decided it was time to leave CrossFit behind and find a gym that was kinder to my body without sacrificing a killer workout. I’m so happy to have found just that at Hot 11.
Your first barre class at Hot 11 Yoga Studio
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
