From the reviews
If you want a complete workout that's enjoyable and really tones you up, then this is the best place in Albuquerque to find it. The instructors are great, the workouts are hard but make you feel accomplished. I love doing Barre then a spin class. It's all I need!
I've been to many exercise studios over the years, but this one truly stands out. From the moment you walk through the door, you’re greeted with a warm, inclusive atmosphere that immediately makes you feel welcome—no matter your fitness level or background. What really sets this studio apart is the team of instructors.
I found this studio over ten years ago and have never strayed. Because of BodyLanguage, I don't like going to workout... I LOVE IT! I have met so many friends and the atmosphere creates such an empowering vibe. Barre was my first love but i have since taken quite a liking to TRX and SPIN classes.
Been coming to BL for Barre and Spin classes for about 10 months now and I am in the BEST shape I have ever been- strong and toned. Your first barre class at BODYLANGUAGE Albuquerque
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
