From the reviews

Barre3 is a place I look forward to going to. At Barre3 it doesn't feel like I am working out because I have to, but because I get to and want to. The community and instructors are what keep me going back. It is so nice having people that care about your health, but also care about you on a personal level.

Joined a friend for a free barre class and found that I love this style of exercise & studio! I am currently in the 2 week trial & already decided that I will continue. The instructors provide plenty of accommodations and the mix of music makes each workout very enjoyable but still challenging!

I have been needing a community like this to encourage and inspire me to get moving more. I love the Barre Code! The teachers, classes and app are all fantastic! 💕

I’m so happy I have found the barre code again after a 2.5 year hiatus. No other studio or classes has made me feel as mentally and physically strong. Your first barre class at barre3

New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.

Barre is low-impact, so it suits most bodies and fitness levels — but if you're pregnant or working around an injury, check with a doctor and let your instructor know so they can offer modifications.
