From the reviews
I having been working out at barre3 Frisco for many years now and they continue to be my go to form of fitness. I’ve tried other types of workouts and barre3 is the best well-rounded experience for my body and mind. The instructors are kind, knowledgeable and offer great modifications if I need them.
I had such a wonderful experience at Barre3. I was a little nervous going in because I have not worked out in a while and I am shy, but everyone here was incredibly kind and welcoming. The instructors made me feel comfortable right away. The owner was especially caring and understanding 🥹 The classes are hard but fun.
I love Barre3 Frisco! It has been the perfect workout for me since recovering from surgery. I feel stronger and more like myself again! It is a welcoming, judgement free zone. The instructors are friendly and offer lots of support for all fitness levels. They are motivated to help you reach your goals!
This was my first Barre3 class — I visited from out of town and Tammy was so welcoming! Great class format and bright, clean studio. I also appreciate that they sent the waiver ahead of the class to help keep check-in seamless. Will definitely be back if I’m in the area again!
Your first barre class at barre3
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
