An amazing fitness experience. I enjoy both Total Body Pilates and Barre classes. I wouldn't miss my workout with Andie, she is the best! Classes are fun and challenging even after several years as a client.
I absolutely love this place. The studio is top notch. The owner Andi makes you feel right at home! She gives detailed instructions, and with her personality you’re sure to reach your fitness goals!
I look forward to each and every class I take with Andi at Balanced 4 Fitness. Her classes are a great combination of stretching, strength and agility.
I have been taking Pilates and Barre classes for many years, in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. When we moved permanently to the Cape, I was elated to find a studio where my body feels transformed after every session. Andi’s workouts are challenging but tailored to people of all ages.
Your first barre class at Balanced 4 Fitness Pilates, Personal Training, Reformer Training, SPINNING, TRX, Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
