What's on offer
From the reviews
My children have been dancing at Allegro for 6 years. Now, at ages 12 and 9, they competively dance for the Allegro Performing Arts Team. It has been a really great experience for my girls. Not only has their technique in dance improved but their confidence on and off stage continues to grow.
I love the Barre Fitness & Buti Yoga is one of the best workouts I have ever had. You also improve your core strength & flexibility! Love Leslie as an instructor!
If you want a no-nonsense, fun workout that will absolutely get you in shape, come give Barre and Buti Yoga a try! You'll make new friends and be encouraged and made to feel great at any level. The instructors Lesley, Allison, and Brandy are fantastic. Come see what you are missing!
My daughter loves going to Allegro. It has been her happy place for years and has boosted her confidence tremendously. The teachers are so positive and encouraging while pushing her to do her best. It has been a very positive place and experience for us, for sure!
Your first barre class at Allegro Dance & Fitness
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
